- DENR Secretary Roy Cimatu vows to crack down on illegal structures along Pasig River and waterways in the city. Cimatu visited the PRRC head office in Quezon City last Sept. 10 after President Rodrigo Duterte signed Executive Order 90, which transferred the chairmanship of the Board of Commissioners of PRRC to DENR.

- The Bureau of Corrections made to explain why Janet Napoles was listed in the list of convicts who have been freed due to their Good Conduct Time Allowance, according to the Department of Justice.

- Tropical Depression Marilyn has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to PAGASA. As of 1100 hours local time, Marilyn was spotted 1,355 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora. It has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour, and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

- The Congress hasn't yet calendared the ABS-CBN franchise renewal.
