Forza Horizon 4: The iconic 917 LH

One of the prizes I won from the Summer Horizon Playlist of the recent Forza Horizon 4 series update is something straight from the pages of Porsche's motorsport history. It's a 917 that is a bit different from the legend that we are familiarized with.



The 917 LH is a different version of the ever-legendary Porsche 917 race car that earned its fame in Le Mans in both real life an the film starring Steve McQueen. Historians pointed us that while the K can take on numerous races like Sebring or Monza, it was made specifically for Le Mans but not as what they hoped. Despite clocking a 240mph top speed at the Mulsanne, it was proven to be quite difficult to drive and therefore, they're favoring the 917K instead.



There's so much stuff I want to know about the 917 LH but since I'm short on schedule, I decided to wind this legend up to Fortune Island and do that the 917 LH hasn't made to do; winning a race against a couple of vintage racers lined up on the grid.
