F1 2019: Singapore GP

Nighttime in Singapore never sounded so loud as the F1 2019 season continues at Marina Bay for the Singapore Grand Prix and in this race, a star racer made a surprising comeback at that venue 391 days in the making.

Scrreengrab from F1
Sebastian Vettel led a 1-2 finish for Scuderia Ferrari with Charles Leclerc placed 2nd, a feat no one in Singapore saw it coming until now, while Max Verstappen of Red Bull completes the podium with a third place finish. Other finishers include Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes, Alex Albom, Alex Albon, Lando Norris, Pierre Gasly, Nico Hulkenberg, and Antonio Giovinazzi, who suffered a post-race penalty for failing to following team crew orders but still managed to keep a point after the race.

Kevin Magnussen set the fastest lap at Singapore with the lap time of 1:42.301.

Following Ferrari's 1-2 finish, looks like Leclerc and Verstappen are tied to 3rd place with 200 points each with Bottas at 2nd with 231 points and Hamilton still leading with 296 points.

The next race of the F1 2019 season will be at Sochi Autodrom for the Russian Grand Prix on the 29th of September, 2019.
