The road to the final 12 of the playoffs continues at Richmond, VA, as the Federated Auto Parts 400 race of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series continues to find out which of the drivers will make or break and with Ryan Newman, Kurt Busch, Clint Bowyer, and Erik Jones risk elimination, this is going to be a fierce fight for playoff survival.

The rather controversial fight for the playoffs began at the wave of the green flag and the first stage saw some handiwork from Brad Keselowski, early battle, and Martin Truex Jr.'s stage win while the second stage sees some controversial moments with the run-in between the 3 and the 88. As Kyle Busch won Stage 2, this is where things get ugly as Ricky Stenhouse Jr. nudged MTJ out from the lead by a spin and some teammates battling for the win.
Despite getting spun out, Martin Truex Jr. comes back fighting all the way for his back-to-back win of the season.
Who will make it to the final 12? The playoffs continue at Charlotte Motor Speedway this Sunday, September 29th.
