- Moderate to occasional heavy monsoon rains will prevail over some parts of western Luzon, while isolated rains from thunderstorms will persist over the rest of the Philippines towards the weekend.
- The Duterte administration will develop four new tourist destinations, including three sites in Ilocos Sur, based on newly signed laws which declared Mount Bulaylay in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Candon City Ecotourism Zone, Santiago Cove, and Pinsal Falls as tourist destinations.
- PhilHealth assured that it will cooperate with authorities as 21 of its officials face graft complaints. “We will be closely watching these developments, and remain committed to cooperate with the authorities regarding this matter,” said PhilHealth President and Chief Executive Officer Ricardo Morales in a statement.

- The Mercedes-AMG GLB35 4Matic has been unveiled and its 306PS 2.0L turbocharged engine and 8-speed AMG Speedshift DCT made it capable of going from 0-100kph in 5.2 seconds.
