When the green flag's in the air, the action kicked off as the first stage sees early trouble for Jimmie Johnson as his car's slow down and followed by a blown tire on the rear right. As Martin Truex Jr. wins Stage 1, Stage 2 gets even wilder with close-quarter fights, and a save by Brad Keselowski, not to mention the chaos in store. As Kyle Busch wins Stage 2, things gets real with Clint Bowyer sustained heavy damage after smacking through a wall.
After one wild Michigan race, Kevin Harvick wins the Consumers Energy 400 thanks to his fuel strategy.
Next race is at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race on the 17th of August.
