2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - Road America

IMSA's 50th anniversary celebration continues at Road America where the best of America's premiere motorsport series gathered at the heart of Plymouth, Wisconsin, to bring some more heat in the summer season. Nothing's more hotter that witnessing a sizzling hot race weekend like this.

Mazda Team Joest continues to make headlines with their third win of the season as the #55 Mazda Team Joest DPi of Harry Tincknell and Jonathan Bomarito eclipsed the #6 Acura Team Penske of Dane Cameron and Juan Pablo Montoya to win the Road America race while the #77 Mazda DPi completes the podium. Behind Mazda's victory, the #52 ORECA won the LMP2 class, the #67 and #66 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing GT machines made a 1-2 GTLM class finish, and the #9 PFAFF Motorsports 911 GT3 R won the GTD class.

The next race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will be at VIRginia International Raceway for the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR on the 23rd to the 25th of August, 2019.
