- Several gun and rifle parts and ammunition were recently discovered by the Bureau of Customs in a courier company warehouse in Pasay City.

- The Makabayan Bloc is prodding the House Transportation Committee to investigate the reported irregularities in the procedures of application and registration of transport network vehicle services.

- The Commission on Human Rights welcomed the apology of Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ De la Rosa on his “unfortunate remark he made about the death of a three-year old being a collateral damage of buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal.’’

- US Attorney General William Barr is cooperating with the Trump administration to find a way to place the controversial citizenship question on the 2020 census following the SCOTUS blocking the inclusion last month. Barr adding that he believes that the administration can find a legal path to incorporating the question.

- China demanded the United States “immediately cancel” a potential sale of $2.2 billion in arms to self-ruled Taiwan, including battle tanks and anti-aircraft missiles, adding fuel to tensions between the two powers.

- Greece’s new conservative Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was sworn recently after a sweeping election victory put him in charge of the EU’s most indebted member with promises to end a decade of economic crisis.

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam said the extradition bill that sparked the territory’s biggest political crisis in decades was dead, admitting that the government’s work on the bill had been a “total failure”.

Iran threatened to restart deactivated centrifuges and ramp up enrichment of uranium to 20% purity in a move away from the 2015 nuclear deal, but the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards insisted the world knows Tehran is not pursuing nuclear arms.

- India plans tax cuts on electric car purchases in the hopes to reduce pollution.

- New Pokemon Sword and Shield info on the radar! The latest info revealed that some Pokemon will change form by Gigantamax. Such examples are Corviknight, Drednaw, and the recently announced Alcremie. In addition, Pokemon such as Yamper, Rolycoly, and Duraludon are announced. For the first time, there will be version exclusive gym battles. Pokemon Sword players will face against Gym Leader Bea while Pokemon Shield players will face against Gym Leader Allister.
