- Last night, the Duterte administration lifts suspension of Lotto game of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office but the probe on corruption allegations continues.

- Senator Bong Go files bill seeking to establish drug rehabilitation and treatment centers in every province of the Philippines. Go said the main objective of the centers is to provide care and attention for the recovery of drug dependents.

- The Bureau of Internal Revenue celebrated its 115th anniversary with the arrest of two officers for the 75 million PhP extortion attempt.

- COMELEC says that the two-month voters' registration period will begin tomorrow, August 1.
