- Hatchback units and sub-compact vehicles will now be allowed to operate as ride-hailing cars following the amendment of a department order permitting them to transport passengers on the road. Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade signed an order amending provisions of Department Order No. 2015-011 and Department Order No. 2017-011 which previously excludes hatchbacks or smaller sedans as a transport network vehicle service.

- MG unveiled the first-ever electric car, the ZS EV with 163 miles of electric driving range.



Nike has filed a countersuit against LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard in response to his lawsuit against the company last month, the latest step in a battle over the "Klaw" logo that was developed and used during Leonard's time as part of Jordan Brand.
