FIA World RX 2019: World RX of Sweden

The action of the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship continues in Holjes for the World RX of Sweden and the summer season keeps on heating up with races like this and no race weekend is more dirtier than this one.

After intense qualifiers that adds some thriller to the Holjes RX, the drivers who made it to the finals are Timmy and Kevin Hansen, Niclas Gronholm, Kevin Abbring, Reinis Nitiss, and Sebastian Eriksson.

At the finals, Eriksson wowed the crowd by not letting Kevin Hansen get in his way to obtain his first ever World RX win at the World RX of Sweden. Such agressive blocking tactic Eriksson pulled off and it worked outstandingly. Reinis Nitiss completes the podium with a third place finish.

Highlights:

After the action in Holjes RX, the gap between the Hansen bros got narrowed to six points with Kevin at 131 and Timmy at 125, while Bakkerud's at third with 109 points.

The next event is at Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres for the World RX of Canada on the 3rd of August.
