2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship - Century Batteries Ipswich SuperSprint

In the first race of the event Jamie Whincup finally ended his 24-race drought with a win, having managed to outrun pole-sitter Soctt McLaughlin on the first lap and dominated for 39 laps. Will Davidson finished 2nd and Chaz Mostert completes the podium with the third place finisher. In the last race of the event, thanks to Scott McLaughlin's win, Ford secures 2019 manufacturers' title, but all that bragging and burnout McLaughlin made attracted a 13K AU Dollar fine.

After the action at Queensland, McLaughlin still dominates the leaderboard with 2438 points with Fabian Coulthard's in 2nd with 2005 points and Shane Van Gisbergen's in third with 1918 points.

Next event is the OTR SuperSprint on the 23rd to the 25th of August.
