2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship - Wattpac Townsville 400

In the first race, the ever-dominant Scott McLaughlin nicked his sixth-straight win after Jamie Whincup for the lead during the final stint of the 70-lap race. However, on the second race, this is where it gets mad in the midst of a rainy weather. From McLaughlin colliding to Reynolds at the start, all the way to the pitstop fire that burnt Percat's car off, it's madness from start to finish, especially when Shane Van Gisbergen managed to overcome the chaotic Sunday at Reid Park with a win.

After the Townsville thriller, McLaughlin still leads with 2168 points in the leaderboards while Fabian Coulthard's in 2nd with 1876 points and Shane Van Gisbergen's in 3rd with 1669 points.

The next event is the Century Batteries Ipswich SuperSprint on the 26th to the 28th of July, 2019.
