NTT IndyCar Series 2019 - DXC Technology 600

The NTT IndyCar Series returns to Texas Motor Speedway, located at the heart of Fort Worth, Texas, for the DXC Technology 600, as these top aces are gathered for an epic oval night battle that will push themselves beyond their limits and see who will survive at the endgame in a race filled with drama and thriller.

The race ran caution-free for more than the first half until Zach Veach collided with the wall at turn 2 on Lap 135. He got spun until Veach is out of the race with a punctured tire. Then, on lap 219, James Hinchcliffe slide wide into the turn 2 wall, and on Lap 229, Scott Dixon and Colton Herta collided while fighting for third place, sending through the wall and out. There's more drama in the race as pole sitter Takuma Sato went for the pit stop after leading 60 laps, slid into the pit stall, and collided with his crewman, causing a stop-and-go penalty.

After all the drama at Texas, Penske man Josef Newgarden is named the victor after beating Alexander Rossi and Graham Rahal to snag the checkered flag.

After Texas, Newgarden's in the lead at 367 points while Rossi's at 2nd place with 342 points and Simon Pagenaud's in third place with 319 points.

Next race is the Rev Group Grand Prix at Road America on the 23rd of June, 2019.
