MIB INTERNATIONAL

A new breed of Men In Black has arrived to make Father's Day Weekend more out of this world as Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson step into the shoes of the titular top-secret organization and brace for the biggest mission yet.

MIB INTERNATIONAL

In Men In Black International, the newest MIB agents are on an epic global adventure to take on their biggest adversary yet at it comes from within the organization.

While this is essentially a sequel or a spin-off of the Men In Black franchise, the fresh new MIB heroes still have a lot to learn from their predecessors but still they sure know how to kick some alien butt while on an epic cross-country adventure to save Earth from alien rampage and they really made this look cool.

As cool as the other summer blockbuster films looking forward to, the new faces aren't the least of the problems on this film, in fact the biggest problem facing this film is this; the appearance of the Lexus RC F in the movie and with so many car enthusiasts that had a Toyota City-sized hole in the hearts ever since Toyota wouldn't feature any road cars on any racing games today rather than Gran Turismo, the facelifted RC F's appearance in Men In Black International deepens the wounds sustained by that shocking plot twist. Had Toyota wished to bring their road cars back to racing games rather than Gran Turismo, we could have wished to have the facelifted RC F and make it look like the one the Men In Black are driving but it's too little, too late.

Despite drawbacks, it's still the ideal action-thriller-comedy to watch for. You can even see the Thor joke that Chris Hemsworth pulled off in the film. Hammers, really, but anyway, you get the picture and MIB International is going to be the most talked about film of the season and no matter how good or bad things get, this film makes it look good.

My rating: 3.7 out of 5 (2.1 because of the Lexus RC F's appearance)
