- The Sandiganbayan Second and Sixth Divisions have granted the travel motion of former Philippine National Police Chief Director Alan Purisima, who is planning to go to Taiwan this month. Purisima’s planned trip is for personal reasons, and it was granted over the objection of the prosecution on May 24.

- Two Catholic prelates, Lingayen Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas and Caloocan Bishop Pablo David, deny involvement in the ouster plot against Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

- The Philippine government has resumed its official interaction with Canada after it retrieved the heaps of garbage illegally shipped to the country years ago.
