- The Supreme Court on Tuesday required the Metro Manila Development Authority to answer the three petitions that challenged the ban on provincial buses from plying along EDSA.

- The Bureau of Customs’ website was reportedly broken into by hackers. According to reports, the agency claimed that the hacking by still-unidentified individuals was an attempt to delay its computer modernization program.

- The first crew to blast off to the International Space Station following a launch accident that deepened doubts over Russia’s space programme returned to earth.
