F1 2019: French GP

As the epic Nurburgring endurance race winded down, the fun begins at Paul Ricard for the French Grand Prix leg of the F1 2019 season and what's happening at the endgame is something you may call dramatic.

It's because Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo got slapped by two five-second penalties for his last lap incidents, dropping from 7th to 11th place. Anyway, while this race is another misfortune for the Aussie, it feels like another day in the office for Lewis Hamilton as he beaten Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc to win the French GP while Sebastian Vettel set the fastest lap time of 1:32.740.

After Paul Ricard, the gap between the two Mercedes drivers is now 36 points; 187 for Hamilton vs. 151 for Bottas.

The next race will be at the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix this 30th of June.
