DTM 2019 - Misano

The 2019 DTM continues at Misano World Circuit where milestones are marked because this two-race event marks the 100th race for both Timo Glock and Marco Wittmann and milestone aside, this two-race event packs some action and drama the spectators looked forward to it and what a weekend it was.

In the first race of the event, a miracle came into view as Marco Wittmann started last on the grid and emerged a come-from-behind win no one saw it coming. He defeated two Audi drivers Rene Rast and Loic Duval to seal his victory at the first race. Meanwhile, in the second race, Nico Muller scored his second DTM career win at Misano after fending off against Philipp Eng and Rene Rast (who got his left-rear tyre punctured in lap 14 but managed to stay strong all the way to his third place finish).

After the Misano drama, Rast leads at 93 points and he's 10 points ahead of Philipp Eng while Nico Muller, after his fantastic win at Misano, placed 3rd with 76 points.

The next event is at Norisring on the 5th to the 7th of July.
