WRC 2019 - Copec Rally Chile

For the first time in WRC history, the world's top rally drivers have been gathered in Chile for the first ever Copec Rally Chile and the first ever Rally Chile event sees more than just barrel-crushing burnouts (yes, really) as the drivers are trying to familiarize themselves in this brand new battleground.

In this barrel-crushing, first-ever Rally Chile event, Toyota driver Ott Tanak emerged as first event winner having shown no sign of slowing the Estonian down in all three weekends; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. That's his second win of the season and he's 23.1 seconds ahead from the Citroen driver Sebastien Ogier. The legendary Sebastien Loeb, representing Hyundai, completes the podium with a third place finish.

The next event will be at Matosinhos, Porto, Portugal for the Vodafone Rally de Portugal on the 30th of May to the 2nd of June, 2019.
