F1 2019 - Monaco GP

The loudest race weekend roars through the streets of Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix of the F1 2019 season and this is a very special because this race pays tribute to the late Niki Lauda, whose death sent shockwaves through the motoring world. As Verstappen's five-second penalty spoiled his podium finish from 2nd to 4th, Lewis Hamilton wins the Monaco GP with Vatteri Bottas taking over Verstappen's spot for 2nd, and Sebastian Vettel placed 3rd. Other finishers include Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz, Danil Kyvat, Alex Albon, Daniel Ricciardo, Romain Grosjean, and Lando Norris.

Pierre Gasly set the fastest lap time of the race with 1:14.279.

After the Monaco drama, the gap between the two Mercedes drivers, Hamilton and Bottas, is now 17 points, 137 vs. 120.

The next race of the F1 2019 season will be at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the Canadian GP on the 9th of June.
