2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship - PIRTEK Perth SuperNight

Night racing in Perth is no stranger in the world of Supercars and the recent PIRTEK Perth SuperNight match of the 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship really showed some excitement and drama after hours as drivers trying to brave through the nights, racing to become Perth's top Supercar driver.

In Friday's match, held at the Barbagallo Wanneroo Raceway, the 1-2 Shell V-Power Racing finish sees Fabian Coulthard defeated his teammate Scott McLaughlin while Chaz Mostert finishes the podium with the third place finish. Then, in Saturday's race, which became dramatic due to the Pye-Heimgartner crash, McLaughlin's back on top after fending off against the likes of Red Bull's Jamie Whincup and Monster Energy's Cameron Waters.

After the dramatic Perth battle, the Shell V-Power drivers are now 144 points apart, 1348 for McLaughlin vs. 1204 for Coulthard.
