600 miles of mayhem, this is what really sums up at an epic dogfight at the heart of North Carolina because of 16 cautions triggered thanks to some wall bumps, slides, and aggressive contacts between drivers. This is what getting smashed feels like in the dead of night.
Brad Keselowski took the first two stages while Martin Truex Jr. took care of Stage 3 in a rather aggressive fashion. After all of the late-race drama that sent the #12 and the #11 wondering what went wrong, Martin Truex Jr. wins the Coca-Cola 600, ending the Greatest Day in Racing after a mega thriller at Charlotte.
Next race is at Pocono Raceway for the Pocono 400 this 2nd of June. Summer has officially begun with NASCAR. Boogity, boogity, boogity.
