- COMELEC bans campaigning this coming Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

- A group of fishermen from Palawan and Zambales asked the Supreme Court to compel the government to protect, preserve and rehabilitate the environment in the Scarborough Shoal or Panatag Shoal, Ayungin Shoal, and Mischief or Panganiban Reef in the West Philippine Sea,

- Some 200,000 policemen and soldiers will be tapped to secure the May 13 midterm elections, with thousands more force multipliers expected to link up with security forces to ensure peaceful and credible conduct of the polls.

- Holy Monday afternoon in Paris, a massive fire engulfed the historic Notre Dame Cathedral. 8 and a half century-old church's spire and roof may have collapsed but the main structure, including the two bell towers, avoided the disaster. President Emmanuel Macron called it a "terrible tragedy". The cause of the fire is not yet clear. Officials say it could be linked to the renovation work that began after cracks appeared in the stone, sparking fears the structure could become unstable.

- House Democrats rallied behind Rep. Ilhan Omar as US President Donald Trump escalated his attacks suggesting the rookie solon downplayed the 9/11 attacks.

- Reuters won two Pulitzer Prizes, one for revealing the massacre of 10 Muslim Rohingya men by Buddhist villagers and Myanmar security forces, and another for photographs of Central American migrants seeking refuge in the United States.

- US President Trump will be awarding Tiger Woods the nation's highest civilian honor after his Masters win.

- This year's 24 Hours of Le Mans will have 62 entries at the start!

- Lotus confirms their first ever EV hypercar codenamed Type 130.

- Mercedes-Benz unveiled the Concept GLB at Auto Shanghai.



- Forza Street has been officially announced and it's the franchise's first foray for mobile gaming. It's now free to download for Windows 10 devices and coming soon to Google Play and App Store.

- Seiyuu Suzuko Mimori and wrestler Kazuchika Okada are now officially tying the knot.

- Phoebe Waller-Bridge was reportedly tasked for scriptwork of the upcoming 25th 007 movie.
