F1 2019: Azerbaijan GP

The F1 2019 race returns to the streets of Baku, Azerbaijan, for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and even before the big one, there has been some big drama occurred with Robert Kubica managed to survive a pre-race crash while Kimi Raikkonen is disqualified and decided to start in the pit line. Drama aside, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been one heck of a race and the winner is worth a surprising feat.

As the Mercedes-AMG team delivered a 1-2 finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the surprise winner emerged by the name of Valtteri Bottas and that victory overtook second place finished Lewis Hamilton to become the standings leader by a point, 87-86. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel completes the podium with a third place finish. Other finishers include Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez of Racing Point, McLaren drivers Carlos Sainz and newcomer Lando Norris, Lance Stroll, and Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen.

The next race is at Circuit de Catalunya for the Spanish Grand Prix on the 12th of May.
