ABB FIA Formula E S5: Rome ePrix

When the fifth season of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship began, there were about six different winners from Antonio Felix Da Costa winning the Ad Diriyah ePrix up to last year's champion Jean-Eric Vergne winning the Sanya ePrix. With the boys gone GOT mode, the Rome ePrix sentences them to trial by combat, automotive combat that is, and decide if a seventh hero will emerge in an epic all-electric street fight at the Italian capital.

As a matter of fact, looks like the Rome prophecy's came true as a seventh different winner emerge in the form of Jaguar driver Mitch Evans, who took his team's first win, while Techeetah driver Andre Lotterer placed 2nd and former F1 driver and HWA Racelab driver Stoffel Vandoorne completes the podium with the third place finish.

Highlights:

After the Game of Romes, Jerome D'Ambrosio of Mahindra still leads with 65 points, a point ahead of BMW i's Antonio Felix Da Costa, and three ahead of DS Techeetah's Andre Lotterer.

Next race is the Paris ePrix on the 27th of April.
