2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series - Food City 500

The NASCAR boys are getting their "For The Throne" face on as The Last Great Coliseum in NASCAR history, the Bristol Motor Speedway, got their war trumpets blown for the Food City 500 race of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. No dragons here but this race really is Game Of Thrones all the way to the royal end. Hey, it's Bristol, baby.

On Stage 1, there's Kyle Busch got entangled sideways in a middle of a collision and when Lap 39 kicked in, out goes the #9 car and the #47, triggering a caution, and then the #8 car got involved in a crash as well. With Ty Dillon wins Stage 1, the race gets serious and with Joey Logano won Stage 2, the action at Bristol's unfolded with lots of carnage in store.

Despite early race pinch, Kyle Busch wins the Food City 500. That's his 54th career win.

Next race is at Richmond Raceway for the Toyota Owners 400 on the 13th of April. That's Palm Sunday to you.
