2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series - Geico 500

Talladega Superspeedway really is The Big One and this Alabama-based mammoth oval is the battleground for the Geico 500 match of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, where drivers are going for broke to survive this titan of an oval racetrack.

The chaos-filled battle at the 'Dega began when the green flag's in the air and "boogity, boogity, boogity". The first stage sees caution triggered when several cars got involved in the damage, including Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, Clint Boyer, Kevin Harvick, and more. Behind the chaos in the first stage, Ty Dillon wins the stage. In Stage Two, Chase Elliot wins and then, the action truly begins. Chris Buescher gets tagged by DiBenedetto, Truex, and rookie Justin Haley, triggering a crash. With just three laps to go, chaos ensues and the big one is when at the final lap, Kyle Larsen got barrel rolled while Chase Elliot snags the checkered flag. Endgame. Get it? Endgame.

Next race is at Dover International Speedway for the Gander RV 400 on the 5th of May.
