- Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Republic Act No. 11227 which compels the POEA to create a handbook for overseas Filipino workers.
- Measles cases in the Philippines have now reached 13,723, including 215 deaths as of February 26, according to the Department of Health.
- SpaceX's new Crew Dragon astronaut capsule was on its way to the International Space Station after its successful launch from Florida on board the Falcon 9 rocket.
- India and Pakistan resume shelling in Kashmir, killing at least four civilians and wounding four others.
- The United States and Russia clashed over how to assist ailing Venezuela, with Moscow pledging new relief channeled through President Nicolas Maduro and Washington slapping sanctions over the blocking of US aid it tried to force through the border.
- Yasuta Sato, the founder of Takara toy company which then merged with Tomy to become Takara Tomy in 2006, passed away at the age of 94.
- Colin Farrell joins the cast of the sci-fi drama After Yang.
- Super Formula is coming to GT SPORT with the Dallara SF19 Super Formula machine, coming on this month's update.
