- A scuffle between campaign personnel of re-electionist Sen. JV Ejercito and, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada has not raised any concern in the Hugpong ng Pagbabago camp as its leaders remained optimistic that the “bad blood” between the half-brothers will be resolved “in God’s time.”

- Former Special Assistant to the President and administration senatorial bet Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go was thankful with the results of a recent survey which saw him considerably improving his ranking among the candidates in the 2019 mid-term polls.

- The Malacanang stressed that any verdict from the International Criminal Court on its inquiry on the government’s drug war would no longer be credible due to lack of jurisdiction as well as interference in the country’s sovereignty. Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo maintained that the ICC has no basis to continue its preliminary examination and that the government would not cooperate if it insists.

- The Trump administration named a veteran Washington lawyer as his first ambassador to Mexico, a delicate role in representing a US leader set on building a wall between the countries. Christopher Landau, who had been rumored for a job since the start of the Trump administration, served as a clerk to two conservative-leaning Supreme Court justices before becoming a prominent lawyer focused on appeals.

- Brazil leader Jair Bolsonaro is meeting US President Donald Trump himself. Tuesday’s White House gathering will bring together two men who were surprise election winners, sweeping to power on a promise to end politics as usual in their giant countries.

- The Democrat-led US House Judiciary Committee said that it expects to receive tens of thousands of documents as part of its wide-ranging corruption and obstruction of justice probe of Republican President Donald Trump.

- Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison called on world leaders to press technology firms to tackle the “ungoverned” space of extremist internet content in the wake of the Christchurch terror attack.

- Last week's sex scandals that rocked the K-Pop world dealt a blow on South Korea's entertainment stocks. Reports told that five major South Korean entertainment companies lost 17.52 percent in value from Feb. 25 to March 15, after their combined market value fell from 3.35 trillion won ($2.96 billion) to 2.76 trillion won.
