- Wutip has slightly weakened but has maintained its track and may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility. PAGASA estimated the location of Wutip at 1,970 kilometers east of Central Luzon or outside the PAR. It continues to move slowly north, on track towards the eastern boundary of the country’s area of responsibility. Should it enter the PAR, it will be named Betty.

- Moro National Liberation Front founding chairman and former ARMM Governor Nur Misuari was finally arraigned before the Sandiganbayan Third Division in relation to his educational scam case. His arraignment was initially scheduled on Wednesday, but it was moved to Tuesday because of a scheduled trip.

- Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte warned that the Medellin drug cartel from Colombia has entered the Philippines.

Nigeria’s main opposition accused the ruling party of trying to rig presidential elections as the incumbent cemented a lead, but monitors voiced concern about polling day problems and violence that caused dozens of deaths.

- Pakistan accuses India of launching strike across Kashmir border after tensions spiked between the nuclear-armed neighbours over the disputed region. “Indian Air Force violated Line of Control,” Pakistan military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted, referring to the de facto border between Indian- and Pakistani-administered Kashmir.

- Diabetics and insulin providers in Britain are stockpiling the precious medicine to avoid potential shortages in case Britain leaves the European Union without a deal in just over month’s time.

- Elon Musk draws flack from the US Securities and Exchange Commission over his violation of the legal accord that required him to get Tesla's approval for social media postings.

- The third installment of the Girls x Heroine tokusatsu franchise, Himitsu X Senshi Phantomirage, has announced. Airing this April 7th on TV Tokyo, the new series centers on Kokomi, Yotsuba, and Saki, who are destined as the newest magicians known as Phantomirage. Takara Tomy will start selling their newest toy line based on the upcoming TV series airing this April.

- Coco Martin visits Kristofer King's wake and he will take care of the funeral costs.
