This year's Six Nations Rugby championship named Guinness as their title sponsor but some might say that this could be the last Six Nations Rugby ever held prior to the imminent Brexit deadline with no agreement in sight before the end-of-March deadline. While this is just a hunch, rugby fans enjoy this championship anyway as six of Europe's best rugby teams come clashing for the title that some might suggest that this could be the last now that Brexit's near.
In the opening match of what is going to be the last Six Nations championship before Brexit, the WRU defeated the FFR at the score of 24-19 in the opening fixture held at Stade de France. In the first half, Louis Picamoles and Yoann Huget score tries with a 16 point lead but the Welsh are making a second-half upset thanks to Tomos Williams and George North as well as Dan Biggar's penalty.
Further ahead, Scotland beats the FIR Italia at the score of 33-20 while the England Rugby bested IRFU at the score of 32-20.
After the opening weekend, Scotland and England are ahead with five points, a point ahead from Wales.
The next round starts on February 9 with Scotland taking on Ireland at BT Murrayfield, Italy vs. Wales at Stadio Olimpico on the next day, and England vs. France at Twickenham Stadium.
