- Senatorial candidate Mar Roxas said he would push to make the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, popularly known as 4Ps, a law if elected in the coming midterm elections.
- The House Committee on Revision of Laws has approved a bill seeking to declare December 11 of every year as a special nonworking national holiday to remember the date when the Balangiga bells were returned.
