- Bicol Region, Visayas. and Mindanao will be experiencing rain due to the prevalence of a low pressure area and tail-end of cold front. According to PAGASA, the LPA has entered the country’s area of responsibility and was last spotted at 445 kilometers east-southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur on Thursday.

- The House Committee on Tourism has approved a bill seeking to declare Camarines Norte as the "surfing capital" of Bicol. House Bill 7049, authored by Camarines Norte Rep. Marisol Panotes, hurdled the panel, chaired by Davao Oriental Rep. Corazon Nuñez-Malanyaon.
