- Pangasinan Rep. Leopoldo Bataoil expressed confidence that the bill seeking to protect, preserve and conserve the Philippines’ indigenous or traditional writing systems would finally hurdle the Lower Chamber when Congress resumes session in January.

- Mitsubishi returns to the 2019 Dakar Rally with their Eclipse Cross T1 Prototype, driven by Christina Gutierrez and Pablo Huete. It is built around a steel spaceframe chassis with a carbon fibre body, and employs double wishbone suspension with two fully-adjustable Ohlins dampers on each wheel. It has a mechanical centre differential and limited slip differentials on its full-time 4WD system, allowing it transmit all 340hp of power from its turbodiesel engine while mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
