- The Department of Interior and Local Government warned that they will sue ABS-CBN if the storyline of their hit TV series, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, hasn't changed. The current arc of the series sees the Vendetta taking on a Vice President-turned-President in cahoots with the PNP Director-General after their plotted assassination against the President.
- The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press has filed a motion in the Eastern District of Virginia to unseal charges against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
