On the road to Eat Bulaga's 40th year, the Philippines' longest-running variety show ran a segment called "HYPE KANG BATA KA!" where the presenters are roaming around different parts of the Philippines for little children with exceptional talents that are worthy of being stamped as HYPE. As months passed, the Eat Bulaga presenters take their time off as "managers" to the chosen kids to sharpen their talents and showcase it onstage until the day comes where the HYPE kids will face each other at the Grand Showdown.
Hype-mazing Kid Zeexhie Garcia wowed us with her mad stunts, Hype Band Kid Sage Araneta is known for playing various musical instruments, Hype Beat Kid Zipporah Temelloso impresses us with her sound effects, Hype Band Kid Moses Gozun wows the crowd with his drum skills, and Incredible Hype Kid Dharica Ceniza's contortionist skills pays off big dividends to impress the crowd. These kids are worthy of being labeled "HYPE KANG BATA KA!" but in the end, there can only be one victor.

Hype Band Kid Moses Gozun, with his mad drummer skills, is named the winner of the HYPE KANG BATA KA! Grand Showdown and he takes home 300,000 Peso cash prize, 200,000 Pesos worth of training funds, and as a bonus, a brand new Mitsubishi sedan for the whole family to travel.
