Starting at Race 1, Hyundai driver Thed Bjork turned his pole position into a one-way ticket to Victory Line after winning the first race of the event. In Race 2, Yvan Muller nailed his third win of the season in the reverse-grid format. And in the last race of the China-Ningbo event, once again, Bjork made headlines with his win. No sign of slowing the Swede now as the gap between him and title leader Gabriele Tarquini is now 8 points, 241 vs 233 points.

The next race of the 2018 FIA WTCR will continue in China, this time at the Wuhan International Street Track for the Race of China-Wuhan event on the 5th to the 7th of October.
