F1 2018 - Mexico GP

The Mexico Grand Prix of the 2018 Formula 1 championship is the event that will decide the fate of Lewis Hamilton's world champion ambition at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Hamilton will be crowned the title is he is 7th place or higher in the race and yet, he did more than the target to claim his fifth title.



He finished fourth place, which is more than enough to clench his fifth world champion title. Hamilton join the ranks of Juan Miguel Fangio and Michael Schumacher in the five-time champions club. Above Hamilton's decisive title grab, Red Bull's Max Verstappen holds the record for the most wins without taking a pole position, while the two Ferrari drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, placed 2nd and 3rd. Valtteri Bottas placed the fastest lap time of this race at 1:18.741.

Even though Hamilton is crowned the world champion for the fifth time, this season's not over yet as the race continues at Brazil, the penultimate race, on the 11th of November.
