F1 2018: Italian GP

Autumn is finally here and the F1 2018 season heads to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix as history has been made by the drivers destined for greatness as one who made it to the triple-digit podium finishers of all time while a winner managed to match the record set by an all-time great.

Mercedes-AMG's Lewis Hamilton matched Michael Schumacher's record of five Monza wins after a decisive move that pushed Vettel out of the podium finish and crumpled Kimi Raikkonen's lead, pushing the Brit to victory. Although Raikkonen's ended up on second place, the Finn finally made it to the 100 podiums club. Valtteri Bottas, thanks to Verstappen's five-second penalty due to shoving him over the track, completes the podium by finishing 3rd.

After Monza, the gap between Hamilton and Vettel is now up to 30 points, 256 vs. 226.

The next race of the F1 2018 season is on Singapore on the 16th of September.
