- Malacanang prefers to let the legal process take its course following reports a local court ordered the arrest of four former party-list lawmakers in connection with a murder complaint. Presidential spokesman Harry Roque maintained that the executive branch respects the independence of the courts on handling the case.

- The 911 call made from Demi Lovato's house was uncovered. According to reports, the 25-year-old singer's assistant alerts the male dispatcher of the incident while requesting him to tell paramedics to shut off the sirens.
