Kusina Kings

As the month of July is at an end, Star Cinema brought us a new comedy movie that delivers a recipe of fun and laughter with some added spiciness and saltiness to deliver a culinary hijinx delicious enough to eat at one gulp.

Starring Zanjoe Marudo, Empoy, Ryan Bang, Nathalie Hart, and Maxine Medina, Kusina Kings is a deliciously hilarious comedy film where two best friends got involved in a shady cooking competition to save the restaurant until a series of unfortunate events put not just the restaurant but them in jeopardy.

While the plot is somewhat a recipe for disaster, like eating a whole plate of dinuguan, Kusina Kings delivers a spit-take of fun and laughter that is as delicious as a wok full of pancit malabon. Tasty indeed as such and while the jokes are as corny as wasabi peas mixed up on the bowl of chicharon bulaklak, it somewhat never fails to stir up some smiles to the viewers, no matter how good or bad this film maybe.

Although not a bad film to watch, the added corniness somewhat made this film very makunat but that never stopped them for enjoying this deliciously funny film for the whole family to watch.
