2018 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup - FireKeepers Casino 400

America roars through two oval events over the course of this race weekend. On the Indy side, there was a 600-mile race occurred somewhere at the Lone Star State while on the NASCAR side, there's this. The FireKeepers Casino 400 held at Michigan International Speedway and looks like the state that gave birth to the American motoring is starting to come alive with 400 miles of oval-racing action, something you can expect in the world of NASCAR.

On the 35th lap of the race, trouble's brewing as David Ragan and Bubba Wallace got spun out in a middle of a close-quarter nudge. Ryan Blaney wins Stage 1. In Lap 66, Daniel Suarez got spun at Turn 4. In Lap 86, Kyle Larson got spun at Turn 4 as well. Meanwhile, Kevin Harvick wins Stage 2. In Lap 129, Ricky Stenhouse got spun at Turn 2 and then goes the raindrops that signaled the end of the race, with just 67 laps to go, with Clint Bowyer named the winner of the FireKeepers Casino 400.

A result no one saw it coming when the race was ended abruptly due to rain but that's the NASCAR way, baby. A 1-2-3 finish for Stewart-Haas Racing, now that is a show of force by nature.

Next race is at Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota Save Mart 350 on the 24th of June.
