2018 Verizon IndyCar Series - Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

After the streets of Long Beach experienced the roar of the IMSA machines last Saturday, it's the turn of the IndyCars for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach leg of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series and those spectators who felt the Saturday hangovers didn't felt like they're having hangovers at all as the speed of the machines kept them awake to witness the moment where every twist and turn can make a big difference.

Summing about what happened in this race, Alexander Rossi leads the 24-car field to the green flag, then Graham Rahal collided at the back of Simon Pagenaud's car, causing Rahal to get the drive-thru penalty for unavoidable contact. Ryan Hunter-Reay's car suffered a front wing damage, Robert Wickens suffered mechanical problems that pushed him to a 22nd place finish, Kyle Kaiser went off track on turn one in Lap 42, triggering a race restart that sent Rossi flying to a massive lead, Scott Dixon and Sebastien Bourdais are hounding themselves for 2nd place,  there's more.

Lap 60 sees Zachary Claman De Melo crashed through the wall while Dixon and Bourdais faced misfortunes by a pit penalty for the Kiwi and a spin for the Frenchman. With the race restarted, Will Power's on the offensive against Rossi but in the end, Rossi wins the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach with Will Power placed 2nd and Ed Jones placed 3rd.
