- Alleged Pork Barrel Queen Janet Lim Napoles is now under provisional coverage of the Department of Justice-Witness Protection Program. According to DOJ Usec. Ericson Balmes, Napoles was granted provisional coverage because of the affidavit her camp’s submitted to the said program. Napoles, just to clarify, is not in the actual care and protection of the witness protection.
- PNP Director General Ronald Dela Rosa expressed his dissatisfaction to the Department of Justice Panel of Prosecutors for dismissing the charges against suspected drug lords Kerwin Espinosa, Peter Co and Peter Lim.
- The wife of Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the US President Donald Trump, has filed for divorce in New York, according to court records.
- Toys R Us asked the US Bankruptcy Court for approval to stop paying all of its suppliers while it tries to line up buyers for its international business ahead of a planned liquidation of its U.S. operations. The news comes following the iconic toy store's plan to liquidate inventory and close down all stores in the United States.
- Mexico's economy minister urged officials to push for a speedy renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement, saying his country and Canada must be ready to go it alone if the United States pulls out. Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo said if no deal to rework NAFTA could be struck by April 30, then the new political complexion of the region would cast doubt on how incoming lawmakers would view it in Mexico and the United States.
- Western nations jointly called on Russia to explain a military-grade nerve toxin attack in England on a former Russian double agent, which they said threatened Western security. After the first known offensive use of such a weapon on European soil since World War Two, Britain has pinned the blame on Moscow and given 23 Russians who it said were spies working under diplomatic cover at the London embassy a week to leave.

- HOLD IT! The Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) TV anime series returns for a second season this Autumn.
- With the Tomb Raider film now showing, Square Enix announced the third installment of the newly revived franchise, titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider, coming this September 14, 2018.
- Actress Kristen Stewart will portray the role of Actress and Activist Jean Seberg in biopic "Against All Enemies".
