- Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Director Sandra Cam aired her suspicion on the relatioship between PCSO General Manager Alexander Balutan and a certain "mystery woman" who were spotted in Europe together. In an interview, Cam revealed the mystery woman to be a certain Janette Vicente who supposedly handles the procurements of the PCSO including the agency’s corporate giveaways.

- Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte warned he may impose a permanent ban on sending workers to Kuwait and withdraw his countrymen working there in case another Filipino domestic helper dies or raped. The comments were the second time in less than a week that Duterte expressed anger about alleged abuse in Kuwait, where he said low-paid Filipinos were made to endure rape and starvation.

- Part of the Duterte administration's anti-corruption campaign, LTFRB chairman Martin Delgra said that he has already sacked over 66 of their staff including about 8 regional directors. According to Delgra, after receiving information of the practice of reselling of franchises he immediately ordered the dismissal of 8 out of the 14 regional directors and put two more under investigation.

- In US politics, Trump advisor Stephen Miller has been pulling the strings in the administration's immigration policy, ensuring that it doesn't stray from the controversial agenda they've championed. Miller was reportedly instrumental in tanking the bipartisan deal to protect DREAMers and avert a government shutdown last Monday. Meanwhile, a resolution to overrule the FCC's controversial Restore Internet Freedom Order (which involves the axing of net neutrality rules) has been introduced in the Senate and it needs one more vote to pass.

- Former USA Gymnastics doctor, Larry Nassar, was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison for abusing young female gymnasts who were entrusted to his care. After the sentence decision, the president of Michigan State University, where Nassar also worked, said she was resigning after facing a barrage of criticism for not doing enough to halt the abuse.

- Honda pulled the wraps of the upcoming 2019 minor change of their Vezel crossover, due to go on sale next month.

- A brand new Aikatsu story was unveiled! Titled Aikatsu Friends!, the brand new series premieres this April on TV Tokyo with a DATA CARDDASS game to launch alongside it.
