- Police told reporters that the viable case against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein after an actress accused him of raping her seven years ago. Earlier, actress Paz de la Huerta told Vanity Fair that Weinstein raped her twice in New York in 2010. Weinstein denied allegations made against him. Over a dozen females accused the 65-year-old of rape and many more have accused him of sexual harassment and performing indecent acts.
- Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a secret appearance before a group of elite Marines and delivered an opening speech and discussed lessons he's learn as an entrepreneur.
- Hennessey Performance unleashed the Venom F5, a hypercar that aims to be the world's fastest production car. Powered by a 7.4L V8 Twin Turbo engine, it produces 1600HP of power and 1762Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed AT. Hennessey promises the F5 will have a top speed of 301mph. and it will accelerate from a rest to 299 km/h (186 mph) in just under ten seconds, while a sprint from zero to 400 km/h (249 mph) and back to zero will be under 30 seconds.
- The Forza Motorsport 7 Samsung QLED TV Car Pack has announced and arriving this November 7. It features two new Italian machines such as the Abarth 124 and the Alfa Giulia, an Arctic Trucks Toyota Prado, and some classic racing machines.
- This winter's Comiket will have booths from Kemono Friends director TATSUKI and voice actresses Chiemi Chiba, Nami Miyahara, Kikuko Inoue, and Atsuko Tanaka.
