1) Their first encounter between Alden Richards and Yaya Dub occurred in the 16th of July, 2015, and what was her first DubSmash to Alden when they first met? Something Chinese, I presume.
2) The YaKie weddings made a huge impact in the story of AlDub. When Alden's going to rush at the wedding of Yaya Dub and Frankie Arinolli to stop it, Yaya Dub got fainted and when Alden's arrived, it was too late. Onto the second wedding, it was revealed that this wedding between Yaya Dub and Frankie's a fake. Even the doctor and the priest is fake as well!
3) Their Dabarkads Pa More performance, on their first try, is surely one moment they will never forget. After Alden's performance onstage, he gets dragged by Lola Nidora and her Rogelio men backstage while Yaya Dub's next. While Lola Nidora tries to make sure Alden will suffer while Yaya Dub performs, Yaya Dub impresses the crowd with her Cinderella-like performance and when her performance ended, Alden's going to rush through the entire Broadway to chase Yaya Dub until it's too late. Yaya Dub got on the jeepney and her missing slipper ended at Alden's hands.
4) The wildcard performance between Alden and Yaya Dub on Dabarkads Pa More is also one of the best AlDub moments in history because right after their performance, Alden and Yaya Dub made their first encounter. They were going to approach each other until Lola Nidora dropped the plywood between them. After the whole plywood fiasco, some unknown men kidnapped Yaya Dub and this is where the search for Yaya Dub began.
5) Another AlDub moment every AlDub Nation remembered is the kidnappings and it was revealed that Duhrizz is the main culprit behind the AlDub kidnappings, which made everyone shocked in awe.
6) On their first date backstage, Alden and Yaya Dub could have made the best day of their lives but then an alarm clock caused Yaya Dub to rush back to Lola Nidora until a car accident occurred. On their second date, this time at the De Explorer mansion, they had the best date ever even with some interruptions caused by Lola Nidora's sisters, Tidora and Tinidora. This is the first time we hear Yaya Dub talked at the very end.
7) The Bahay Ni Lola Halloween Special of Kalyeserye is also one of the best AlDub moments of 2015. Alden, Yaya Dub, and the Kalye's Angels brace themselves as they enter a haunted house that Lola Nidora's diary of secrets foretold. A house known as..."Bahay Ni Lola"! Having managed to brace themselves in fear and a little bit of AlDub Dubsmash chemistry, they've survived and snagged the jewelry box as foretold by a message. Inside that jewelry box, there was a message saying that a ring is inside...and it was! Alden grabbed hold of the ring and he was going to wear it on Yaya Dub's finger but then...well, you get the idea.
8) Kalyeserye does Gaya-Gaya Pa More! Shortly after the celebrities performing their best impersonations in Bulaga Pa More's Gaya-Gaya Pa More competition, fans have witness what celebrity impersonation will AlDub pull off and it was none other than Guy and Pip, the legendary love team in Philippine showbizness.
9) AlDub goes to Enchanted Kingdom! Before going to Enchanted Kingdom, first they have to attend a Christmas party alongside Lola Nidora, Tidora, and Tinidora as they will give gifts to the little children and have games in a form of a calamansi relay. After a short Christmas party, Alden and Yaya are off to the said location and hoping that they will follow what Lola Nidora promised. Of course, Tidora and Tinidora are tailing them while on Enchanted Kingdom and alongside the sisters is none other than everyone's favorite doctor/explorer, Doktora de Explorer! Muy bien!
10) In the 24th of October, 2015, the world is all one when everyone at the Philippine Arena, at home, at a viewing party, or abroad witnessed the biggest AlDub event of a lifetime when Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza finally made it "Sa Tamang Panahon". It was a star-studded cast with all the Eat Bulaga presenters as well as the Kalyeserye characters present to unleash their own brand of joy to the mass audience and it all builds up to the arrival of AlDub. Too bad no kiss occurred but that's fine by them to see these two finally close to each other having managed to survive through tons of challenges in their never-ending quest for forever. Of course, no event is too colorful without Lola Nidora, Tidora, Tinidora, Duhrizz, Rihanna, Frankie, the Rogelios, the Bernardos, and the Quandos present.
11) We all though all hope is lost when Yaya Dub is heading on another place while Alden Richards is going to marry Cindy Kournikova just for the sake of her family's businesses in Russia but miraculously, AlDub never gave up hope as they finally managed to meet each other once again backstage! What happened to Cindy? Well, while she was going downstairs, getting ready for the wedding, she got tripped and when she regained consciousness, she got amnesia! Wow! While Cindy completely forgot who she is, we were going to see Alden and Yaya kiss each other but eventually, the big hoking horn honks and everyone's on a standstill.
12) The Kalyeserye segment on Eat Bulaga takes AlDub Nations back in time to discover Lola Nidora's bitter heartbreak from the man of her life, Anselmo. Set in 1945, when the Second World War reaching its climax, viewers get the chance to see a much younger Nidora (who looks just like Yaya Dub) while discovering her life event that changed her forever; the story of Anselmo and Nidora. Sure, it's set 70 years ago but the timeframe's all messed up because of the early promotion of a movie that is due on 2015, some modern vehicles, modern infrastructure, and whatever weird stuff going on. Either way, viewers witnessed why she ran away from her Mama Ariana Miley, how she got accompanied by the Beyonce "Yaya Mot" (whose English is hilariously bad), how Anselmo suffered from a tumor in his brain, and how these two lovers cope up together. Believe it or not, the terms dubsmash, hugot lines, and pinky swears were done during the postwar period. It's all come to this; at the moment the two lovers going boojie on their day out while her mom went AWOL, they were unknowingly being hot on Mama Ariana Miley's trails and caught red-handed. Furiously, she ordered her men to separate Nidora and Anselmo once and for all. That was the most bitter postwar heartbreak in Lola Nidora's life. That heartbreak shaped her to become the person we knew today.
13) Alden and Maine showcased their acting skills in the 2016 Eat Bulaga Lenten Specials but the best 2016 Lenten Special was none other than God Gave Me You, which is where Jake Ejercito made his first acting appearance in a special. In God Gave Me You, Maine plays the role of a young woman who tries to cope the loss of her friend, played by Jake, until a reluctant male, played by Alden, steps in to cheer her up and set things right.
14) The 9th monthsary of the Philippines' favorite love team, AlDub, sees them uncovered the big revelation inside the box they got. So, what's in the secret box? Keys to a house and lot? A sketch for a wedding dress? A baby doll? No, no and no. The biggest surprise is none other than...a movie announcement!
15) The Sportsfest kicked off as planned and for our very own Team Work, led by Lola Tinidora with Divina as their Muse, they're facing a neck-to-neck competition against other teams. In the end, the Team Work has won but Lola Nidora's arrival spurs things up for AlDub and what do they get? A final script for the movie they're working on.
16) To prepare themselves for the movie they'll be soon working on, the latest Kalyeserye segment in Eat Bulaga sees the gang pitched in award-winning movie director Gina Alajar to do a live acting workshop on national television and you know that means, right? LIGHTS! MOTOR! ACTION! Direk Gina gave the gang some acting lessons and giving them situations, which the gang done very well in terms of acting. Yes, this workshop's going very well right up to the moment when things are getting personal and out of hand. About Lola Nidora getting angry at AlDub, is this part of the acting or a personal manner that is about to get real? We may never know...The lolas have thrown in an Italian-themed despedida party for AlDub before heading off to Italy for the shooting of their romantic movie coming soon. After exchanging necessities, the gang headed off to the studio for one last bow for AlDub before setting off.
17) Alden and Yaya Dub travelled to Taal Vista Hotel to spend their Valentines Date between them. This is becoming the perfect date to end all dates that AlDub done before since last year. During the date, Yaya Dub had a surprise just for Alden and that's none other than another love poem that pleased not just Alden but also Lola Nidora as well even though they're miles aways between Broadway and the Taal Vista Hotel.
18) The guys at Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye are joining the summer fun with their own pool party with a twist. Lola Nidora will allow Alden and Divina to go whatever they want for their summer holiday but first, they will have to take on a poolside challenge to get all five letters in under five minutes. It sure is a wet and wild experience but that doesn't stop Eat Bulaga's favorite duo from completing their poolside challenge and after five minutes, they succeeded their challenge, which means, they can go whatever they want for their summer holiday! Wow! Fantastic Baby!
19) Aldub fans are in a treat because they witnessed the duet version of the theme song of the upcoming AlDub movie, slated to hit theaters this July, titled Imagine You and Me. But first, Divina's dad, Dodong, makes a surprise comeback just to meet up with the presenters as well as Alden's dad. After their duet performance, Dodong gave Divina something right until the sound of police siren alarmed Dodong, prompting him to run away. Could Dodong be...? Well, we never know who Dodong really is, judging how he ran away when he heard police sirens blaring.
20) Hardly a year has passed since rising star Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza made her TV debut on Eat Bulaga and during her tenure, no one has gotten more awards, accolades, and endorsements than everyone's favorite Dubsmash queen. When it comes to her on-screen antics with Alden Richards, nobody does it better than AlDub. To honor such an occasion, Maine has thrown her biggest performance yet on the Eat Bulaga stage and with the help of the AlDub Nations, Lola Nidora, Lola Tinidora, Alden Richards, and the EB presenters, it was the best day of Maine Mendoza's career.
