The South Korean military reported that North Korea has fired five projectiles towards the Sea of Japan.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the North fired five missiles or rockets from near Hamhung in the eastern province of Hamgyong-namdo between 1519 and 1605 hours local time. The projectiles flew about 200 kilometers before falling in the Sea of Japan. They are analyzing the situation.
This month, numerous test-firings in North Korea had occurred such as the firing of two scud missiles on the 10th of March and two Rodong missiles eight days later.
