- On the 30th of October, 2014, former Department of Health secretary Juan Flavier, famed for his "Let's DOH it" campaign, passed away of multiple organ failure. Now, the remains of the former DOH secretary and senator was brought to the DOH complex for a necrological service on Tuesday. Present DOH secretary Enrique Ona delivered a eulogy in his first public appearance since his controversial leave of absence.
